GD Concert Ubermensch Korea

Hi all,  this is a quick review and guide of the GDragon’s Ubermensch concert in Korea

• Date: March 29-30
• Location: Goyang stadium

I went to the first concert on the 29th

The start time was originally 6:30pm, but it was delayed to 7:30pm due to the weather conditions. (It snowed that day! That is really unusual in Korea for this time of the year)

How to get in:

1. First go to the side arena (see the red circle in the map below) outside the stadium to do certification and get the wrist band: they will check your ID and the ticket and give you the wrist band, guitar pick, and small placard.

2. If you want to buy MD, the line starts in there. There are also some giveaways there.
3. Go out and find the entrance to the stadium. Here’s the map. (For example, if your seat is N5, enter into the North gate).

4. Enter the stadium: They check your wrist band and ticket again. They also give you hot pack (heat pouch).
5. There are ushers so show them the ticket to find your seat.

Light stick:

- the light stick syncs with the central controller, so make sure you sync it.
- You can use the app to sync
- You can go into the stadium and go to the pairing booth for light stick pairing. It looks like this.
- Bring extra batteries, or you can buy them at 3000 won at the pairing booth

Tips:

- the restrooms inside the stadium has a really long line, so go to the restroom before entering the stadium
- it is reallllly cold!!!! People brink blankets, wear padded jacket etc. I wore a pullover, warm pants, padded jacket, beanie, muffler, gloves and it was still cold!!
- You can bring water bottles. In fact, I’ve seen people bring cookies, etc.
- Get here EARLY! Especially if you want to buy MD.  Someone told me that she got here and 10am, and by the time she finished buying the MD was 1:30pm.
- If you want food there are quite some places to eat, but the line is really long. Be prepared.

The Concert:

- It started at 7:30pm and ended around 10pm. There was an hour delay due to the start
- The show was great!!
- For the Saturday show CL came as the guest
- GD sang 3-4 encore songs!
- You can take pictures and video with your phone
- GD talks a lot which was great
